Hardware: Terminal has poor signal or connection

My CabFare terminal is showing “poor signal” or "Attempting to connect to Tyro"

You can check the status of the CabFare payment service here. If all systems show they are 'Operational' then:

Hold the yellow button on your terminal down until the CabFare terminal restarts. You’ll need to sign in again. The CabFare terminal works on the Telstra network. If the signal is weak or Telstra is having technical issues, this might bring up this message. You might have to restart the terminal more than once if it does not reconnect after the first attempt. Make sure that you are in an area with a strong signal.
