A fare appears on my statement on a day that I did not take a taxi ride.

CabFare terminals can only process card present transactions. Your credit card number cannot be manually entered on a CabFare payment terminal. A subsidiary card may have been used that is linked to your account or the date of travel may be different than what appears on your statement.

Please note, CabFare transactions record a date and time stamp referencing Australian Eastern Standard Time. Your trip may have occurred in another Australian time zone which may explain the date and time difference.
