The CabFare Tap to Pay app on my Android doesn't process transactions?

If you’re experiencing issues with processing a transaction using the CabFare Tap to Pay app, please ensure the following:

  • Grant Location Services: To ensures secure payment processing you must allow the app access to your device's location:

    • Android: Open Settings, tap Apps, tap All Apps, select CabFare, go to Permissions, tap Location, and choose Allow only while using the app.

  • Make Sure you have NFC Enabled: Open Settings, search NFC, make sure Use NFC is turned on. 

    • If you search NFC and see no results, then your Android phone doesn't have the capabilities to process CabFare Tap to Pay payments.
